The apartment in the middle really looks like the one I lived in Athens — I had painted the walls orange. It was great in the beginning, but later almost made me go mad. Now I use orange in smaller doses. Anyway, that’s why I couldn’t resist this prompt.
My kitchen in Trikala is now orange. It’s smaller than my Athenian sitting room, so the color is perfect there. I always live in colorful houses. I can’t stand white or beige walls.
“Magdalena, hold me tighter,
I think I’m sinking down.
And I’m all strung out,
and stuck
on the outskirts of Athens.
With just my Ray Bans on
to guard the seeds of dark
from the skin of the sun.”

Basilike, I love yr rich prose here, and so romantic. Thanx once again for a pleasurable read. I realize that it’s been to long since I visited. It’s always a smile when I see that you’ve visited my work, and a compliment from a wonderful writer when you “like”. I sure like yours here.

My kitchen in Belgrade is orange and doors of different colors. Colors can do that to you. No wonder we love using them in writing.

Something’s telling me you’re gonna love a story of mine.

Just a thought…
My balcony’s also orange btw, though I’m really a yellow person.

Your balcony sounds great. Yellow is among the colors I wear the least, so I generally don’t use it much. I like it in other people’s homes though.
When do we get to read the story?

The scent of the lemon trees seduced me as well as the history, staying in a taverna added to the magic!
